Announcing Chio&co
A Networking Platform Built JUST for Chi Omegas!
For many of us, Chi Omega started as a place to build confidence during our collegiate years. Continuing throughout our lives, Sisterhood is at its best when it offers ongoing engagement and support. For that reason, Chi Omega’s Governing Council has worked with the Executive Headquarters team to create ChiO&Co (pronounced Chi O and Company). ChiO&Co is an online networking platform that offers Sisters the unique opportunity to advance their personal and career growth.
S.M. Elaine Baker, who has been working with S.H. Laura Miller and the Alumnae Engagement Team on this project since 2021 said:
“We envisioned a tool to help Sisters connect on shared areas of interest, networking, job searches, casual coaching, more formal mentoring, personal development, and other ideas that would help us cultivate a lifetime of purpose as connected Chi Omegas.”
Chi O Coaches: Find Sisters who share the same career and passion as you do. ChiO&Co offers professional perks like finding a “coach” or mentor who can coach you, give you the tools for the next step in your career, support you in finding new opportunities, or offer you guidance. You can do the same for other Sisters and become a mentor yourself.
Community Groups: Connect with Sisters all over who have the same interests. Whether you’re into art, cycling, or being a dog mom ChiO&Co has a group for you, where members can chat, meet in person or virtually, and share ideas. You can also reconnect with Sisters you may not have seen since graduation in a chapter-specific group.
Career Opportunities: Get help finding your next job—or find your next great hire for your business. Our job board connects job seekers to new career opportunities, as well as advice for writing resumes, job interviewing, and networking. Employers can post internships and job opportunities to get qualified candidates.
Chi O-Owned Businesses: Promote your small business to others. Many Chi Omegas are successful entrepreneurs, and we love to let our Sisters know how and where they can support Chi O-owned businesses.
Chi O Educational Content: Get access to helpful insights and updates on the Fraternity. Our newsfeed will constantly have posts, articles, ideas, events, and updates so you are always in the know.
