Purpose: Chi O Creations, the preferred vendor of Chi Omega Fraternity, is designed to support all endeavors of Chi Omega Fraternity while providing quality merchandise and protecting our brand.

Lorrie Hill
Pi | Tennessee

 

Lorrie Miller Hill is an initiate of the Pi Chapter at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she served as Personnel Chairman, prior to accepting a scholarship to study in Japan. 

Professionally, Lorrie has worked in the field of interior design following a career with the United States Government.

Lorrie served as the Director Extension & NPC for the Executive Headquarters prior to serving as Chi Omega’s Second Alternate NPC Delegate. She has been on staff for many Conventions and Firesides as a Facilitator, Convention Co-Chair, Ritual Team Chair, Resolutions Chair, Credentials Chair, and Special Guest Chair. Lorrie has also served in various national volunteer positions as well as on the House Corporation Board at the Pi Alpha Chapter at the University of Cincinnati, as the Personnel Advisor for the Kappa Mu Chapter at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, where she was involved with the chapter’s founding in 2011, and as past President of the Fairfield County Alumnae Chapter. 

Lorrie and her husband, Scott, a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, currently reside in Covington, KY, with their two collies. They have a Sigma Chi son who lives in Connecticut and a Chi Omega daughter who is an active at Lambda Alpha Chapter at the University of Kentucky.

Lynnie is Currently serving on the Chi Omega Foundation Donor Relations Committee,  Co-Chair for Chi Omega Planned Giving Committee; Chi O Creations Board of Trustees Secretary/Treasurer; Sisterhood and Ritual Advisor for Zeta Alpha Chapter; Lambda Alpha/University of Kentucky; Owl Tree Chair for Convention 2018 in Phoenix; and a member of the Margaret Hyde Heritage Society.

Lynnie retired after 20 years as a Retail Manager with The Acorn, Polo-Ralph Lauren, Levi’s and a family owned jewelry store, The Diamond Cellar. She is now enjoying retirement and has volunteered for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus and supports The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Along with her sisters, she started The David and Andria Goss Endowment for Pancreatic Cancer Research at The James Comprehensive Cancer Center at The Ohio State University. Lynnie enjoys gardening, baking, traveling to Longboat Key FL, Ohio State football and being with her friends and family. She lives in Upper Arlington, a suburb of Columbus.

Laura Miller
Rho Epsilon | Texas Christian

 

Laura is an initiate of Rho Epsilon Chapter at Texas Christian University. She served as Vice President and President of the Student Body and graduated Magna Cum Laude in Marketing.

Professionally, Laura is Fort Worth Market President of Veritex Community Bank.  She has more than 40 years in business and banking.

Laura has an extensive Chi Omega volunteer resume.  She served as an advisor to Rho Epsilon Chapter for 30 years–from 1980 to 2010. She was a founding member of the National Recruitment Team in 1988 and served as its chair from 1991-1998. Laura directed the presentations on recruitment at both the 1992 and 1998 conventions. She has served as Chairman of Resolutions, and Credentials and Tellers committees and led various Firesides and Convention workshops as a presenter and facilitator. She led the revision of the Membership Education Experience debuting at the 2014 convention. She has actively participated in Extension efforts since 2010 with the focus on updating extension presentations and submissions and statistical analysis of opportunities.  She is past president of the Fort Worth Chi Omega Alumnae and recipient of The Outstanding Alumna Award. In 2010, 2012 and 2014, Laura was elected to serve in the position of S.N.V. on the Supreme Governing Council. In 2016 and 2018, she was elected as S.T.B.

Laura is a member of the 1895 Society and the Margaret Hyde Heritage Society.

Laura has been very involved with TCU having served six years on the Board of Trustees and as a member of the Executive Committee. She has also served as President of the National Alumni Association. She has received the Alumni Service Award, the President’s Service Award and the Outstanding Sorority Advisor Award all at TCU.

Laura has been active in the Fort Worth community, serving in various leadership positions on Boards that include the Junior League, Trinity Valley School and the University Christian Church, where she is currently an elder.  Her Board experience includes National Conference of Community & Justice, YWCA of Tarrant County, I Have a Dream Foundation, Women’s Health Exchange of Andrews Hospital/Baylor All Saints, and Jewel Charity.

Laura has received numerous accolades in the banking profession and in her community.  Of particular note, Laura was recognized last year as Tarrant County’s Banker of the Year and honored as a Great Woman of Texas by The Fort Worth Business Press.

Laura and her husband, Tod, a member of Lambda Chi Alpha, have two SAE sons – Jay, who is married to Emily, and Scott, who is married to Christal. They are all graduates of TCU. She is a grandmother to Jack, Molly Kate, Michael, Robbie, Ford, and Maggie. She and her family reside in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Jill Bowman
Zeta Beta | Arizona

 

Jill is an initiate of Zeta Beta Chapter at the University of Arizona.  Jill served her chapter as GH, and upon graduation traveled as a National Leadership Consultant for two years, 1997-1999.

Professionally, Jill has background in healthcare care management consulting projects.  She has edited and submitted articles to medical journals.  Jill is currently an independent healthcare consultant and aquatics director for Eastmoor Swim & Tennis Club in Denver, Colorado.

Jill has a long record of volunteer service at the national level for Chi Omega.  Her Chi Omega resume includes: member of the Chi Omega NPC Team, NPC Area Advisor, National Recruitment Team, Firesides Leader, Firesides and Convention staff, and Extension Presentation Teams.

As member Chi Omega’s delegation to NPC, Jill assumed the role of coach and mentor as an NPC Area Advisor to  several campuses.  She has served Chi Omega’s representative to NPC in another capacity as a Release Figure Methodology (RFM) specialist for 13 years.  The RFM specialist position is intricate and involves figuring out the release numbers for sorority chapters on campuses during recruitment.

Jill was most recently tapped by the Governing Council to lead Chi Omega’s Membership Experience Task Force and deliver on outcomes that resulted in the roll out this year of a fresh, new approach to education and programs.

Jill has an extensive background with chapter advising, serving as a Scholarship Advisor to Kappa Lambda Chapter at University of California—San Diego and Recruitment Advisor at Mu Chapter at University of California–Berkeley.  She has been serving most recently as the Recruitment Advisor to one of our newest chapters–Zeta Mu Chapter at the University of Denver.

Jill adds to the SGC team great depth of leadership in community and non-profit organizations, including serving on the Board as President of the Parent Teacher Organization at her children’s school, Swim and Dive Team Coordinator, and Vice President of Membership on the Board of Directors for the Junior League of Denver.  She also has held active roles at the Greenwood Community Church.

Jill resides in Denver, Colorado, with her Sigma Chi husband, Brent, and two children—daughter Brynn and son Drew.
