Chi O Supporting Essential Workers

“With all the darkness surrounding us, I wanted to exhaust all the resources I have to help bring some light to others,” says Kenzie Donald, Chi Omega – University of Tennessee.

“One of my biggest resources is all the selfless and genuine girls that make up my Chi Omega Sisterhood! I reached out to my chapter and asked if they would be interested in contributing to a special treat for the front line workers sacrificing everything to keep us safe. The response from them was immediate, and they were all so eager to help out. Many took time out of their day to write out sweet notes of appreciation and Bible verses to send to me to accompany the cookies. I live close to UT’s campus, so I was able to provide these gifts to the local hospital, UT Medical Center, which is the main hospital treating COVID-19 patients in Knoxville. I am so proud to call myself a Chi Omega woman and be surrounded by such kind sisters who helped pull this off! I hope it can inspire others to use their time in positive ways and find a way to put a smile on someone’s else’s face, especially those who are working so hard to help keep us healthy and safe!”

Sisters Helping on the Frontlines

“Jenny and I are both alums from Chi Omega at Florida State University. I was PC15 and Jenny was PC16, and we currently work together at a family medicine office. Some days, when we aren’t in the office, we’re working the drive through COVID-19 testing site where we swab patients in their cars for the virus…. I love having a fellow Chi O on the front lines with me… It adds an extra sense of comfort to something that can seem so scary. We hope everyone is staying safe, staying healthy, and staying home. We will get though this!” Sarah Sims, Gamma | FSU

Thank you to all our Sisters on the front lines working to keep us safe and healthy!

National Volunteer Week

This National Volunteer Week, we honored our volunteers of ALL kinds!

Thank you to our Advisors, House Corporations, National Teams, and Recruitment volunteers who invest in our Chi Omega Sisters year-round. Thank you to our Make-A-Wish America volunteers, Sisters who volunteer locally, and to all those stepping up right now to volunteer their time, talents, and expertise during this current pandemic.

Thank you to all of our volunteers for giving selflessly, being #SistersOnPurpose, and showing up for others when it matters most. Your gestures – big and small – leave lasting impacts that help us all to feel more individually together. Thank you!

2019-2020 National Leadership Consultants Wrapping up

Our 2019-2020 National Leadership Consultants have officially wrapped up their year! From traveling across the country last semester, to conducting annual visits via zoom calls this semester, these Sisters have worked tirelessly to ensure our chapters are supported through it all, and we’re so thankful for all they’ve accomplished!

NLCs provide leadership skills and resources for chapters to make a positive impact on campus and in the community. Each of our 181 Chi Omega chapters receive a visit from one of these Sisters each year to ensure the continued success of each chapter. They also work with advisors, local alumnae, and campus professionals to provide comprehensive support.

Thank you to all of our 2019-2020 NLCs for all that they have done for Chi Omega!
