Hear from Sisters on the Impact your Investment in Chi Omega makes:

Corinna Casey, Kappa Lambda | California – San Diego

“As an advisor, I see that Chi Omega member development programs help collegians tackle relevant and challenging issues like mental health, balancing life’s demands, drug and alcohol abuse, and sexual violence. Chi Omega is dedicated to empowering women throughout their stages of life and celebrating women for the many and diverse ways they impact our society.”

Laura Krogman, Psi Alpha | Oregon
    Alumnae Educational Grant Recipient

“I am beyond grateful to have received this scholarship. Your generosity means I will be more able to direct my veterinary studies and conduct research while simultaneously having my financial burden lightened. I hope to one day be able to help students as you have helped me, facilitating the process of returning to school.”

Beth Corum, Xi Zeta | Tennessee Martin

“My four years as a Chi Omega collegian taught me many leadership lessons, and helped prepare me for the roles I have today: mom, banker, volunteer. By encouraging fellow Chi Omegas to become Foundation donors, we can continue our legacy of developing future and current leaders through programs like The Nancy Walton Laurie Leadership Institute, and Risk Management Workshops.”

Courtney Lorey, Omicron Beta | William and Mary

“I was glad to learn facts related to alcohol—for example I didn’t know the concept of a standard drink—but this education goes far beyond that to encompass so many different areas. It covers hazing policies that are important to know for Greek life, information about stalkers, general safety and warning signs to look for, and other scenarios that I hadn’t previously given a lot of thought to. It addressed dangerous situations with respect to sexual assault, and personal relationships and friendships.”

Caitlin Wilkerson, Alpha Zeta | Texas State

“The Helping Hands Fund for Disaster Relief was a tremendous blessing post-Harvey. The combination of the storm and location of my apartment resulted in six feet of water entering my home. Because of its location, my apartment was inaccessible for a few months following the storm. Once we re-entered the apartment, it became clear that everything inside was ruined. The emotional and financial burden weighed on me heavily. One of my Sister’s reached out to tell me about the Helping Hands Fund for Disaster Relief. The kindness I was shown with the Helping Hands Fund was so encouraging. I remember feeling so lost during this period. I was awarded the grant and a sense of relief immediately overtook me. I was able to purchase a new bed and begin to rebuild this part of my life. I am forever grateful for all of the help Chi Omega has given me over the years. I’m so proud to be a part of this amazing Sisterhood.”

Katherine Carter Pope, Upsilon | Union

“I wanted to impact the women somehow in a direct way… I wanted to see a tangible way that women were being impacted and give back to what was given to me.”
